White Sangria With Prosecco

This cocktail is mixed with fruits, which are soaked in bubbly Prosecco. This recipe is really festive, perfect for holidays, parties, and just basically kicking back with friends. Prosecco and Sangrias are inarguably the perfect mixes for ready to make, easy cocktails. Sangria pairs well with dryer or more acidic wines, so a Prosecco is an ideal bet.

White Sangria isn’t everything, but paired with Prosecco, it is the perfect wine blend. The fun part of this wine recipe is that it is not limited to a certain type of fruit, any preferred fruit of choice can be used to bring about the same fun outcome. Sangria’s has always been paired over the years with chopped fruit which isn’t a revolutionary mix on it’s own, but topped off with Prosecco, this new blend takes the drink to a whole new level. It is the perfect wine for parties and festive events.

White Sangria with Prosecco can be easily made at home in less than twelve minutes, without the stress of buying it from a supermarket or just spending money in general. Also, the added feeling of making your own wine is definitely a plus. The recommended Prosecco for this recipe is the Fillipo Sansovino, it is a great wine for parties which has floral notes and a fruity taste. It also has creamy undertone and the mousse is firm.

How To Make White Sangria With Prosecco

Ingredients

  • Mangos, banana’s or any fruit you prefer. Making Sangria’s does not have a fixed method, and it changes based on preference without actually affecting the taste.
  • 3 ounces of Filipino Sansovino Prosecco (or any other Prosecco of choice) 
  • 1 Lemon
  • 1 Lime
  • 1½ cup of Strawberry
  • 1 orange
  • ¼ cup of granulated sugar
  • Fresh mint

Method 

  1. In a large pitcher, mix the brandy and sugar. Squeeze juice from one orange, lime, and lemon into the pitcher. 
  2. Start off with a base white sparkling wine which the Prosecco is perfect for. 
  3. Stir everything and make sure the sugar is mixed correctly and evenly. 
  4. Refrigerate for at least six hours.
  5. Serve in wine glasses with ice (if desired) and garnish with a sprig of mint. Prosecco can also be topped off in this mixture. 

Tips

  • Do not put ice in the pitcher unless they’d melt and water the drink down.
  • Superfine sugar dissolves faster than regular sugar. Sugar syrup is recommended because it blends in evenly with the cocktail without leaving any rough remnants.
  • Cheese, guacamole, pork sliders can be paired exceptionally well with this recipe. 
  • An added liqueur is not compulsory, but it is highly advised.
  • Club soda, ginger ale, or champagne are great drinks to top it all off.
