The times around Christmas and Easter are special – and the prosecco cocktails for Easter should be no different.
While the whole family strives to get together from different parts of the world and when they finally do, everything is about exultation, entertainment, and merrymaking. As the big day approaches, the daily chores start to fill our hearts with merriment and all else begins to dim down for a while. A large part of that merrymaking comes from feasting. Feasting on amazing foods and toothsome drinks, sharing stories, and of course, laughing your heart out!
And that’s exactly when you put your ‘generous host’ pants on and woo your family and friends! Of course, you could cover a part of it by having at it with these excellent Prosecco Cocktails for Easter and we promise, you won’t be letting your guests down easy.
Unless, of course, you don’t do it right.
1. Aperol Spritz
Preparation time: 5 mins
Ingredients: Prosecco, Aperol, Club Soda, and Orange-wedges
Mix one part Aperol with a delicate fizz Prosecco (we suggest using Cinzano Prosecco) and top up with a club soda. Garnish with an orange wedge and serve immediately. Do this with the chilled liquids or on the rocks, whatever’s the most convenient. Your guests are going to be woo-ed and you’ll be feeling like Dale DeGroff in no time.
Toss a splash of sloe gin into a standard glass or champagne flute (we suggest doing it on the rocks for the maximum hit). Add a blackberry or two, or three. Top this bad boy up with Prosecco. Again, we suggest using Cinzano prosecco for its light flavor and delicate fizz.
Serve, enjoy, and repeat until the dopamine receptors of you and your guests are fatigued with pleasure.
3. Hibiscus Prosecco
Preparation time: 5 mins
Ingredients: Prosecco, Hibiscus Flower, Hibiscus Syrup, and Raspberries
Get yourself a red Hibiscus flower from any supermarket, go with the Hibiscus sabdariffa. Make a syrup of the flower or get the syrup separately. Pour a tablespoon of the syrup at the bottom of the glass, toss 2-3 raspberries inside, and top up the drink with prosecco.
Remember to enjoy the flower and savour its rhubarb and raspberry tastes and aromas. You’ve been informed.
4. Rose-ecco
Preparation time: 3 mins
Ingredients: Prosecco, Rose Syrup, and a Rose
This one’s for the prosecco lovers by a Prosecco lover, Sophie Dahl. The simplest and minimalist of all yet lets you savour every inch of the taste.
Fill a champagne flute with prosecco, preferably one with prosecco or floral notes. Drizzle a tablespoon of rose syrup and let it navigate on its own. Garnish with 2-3 rose petals.
Now, sit down, enjoy the smell, savour the taste, and sleep well.
An excellent-looking, holiday-vibin’ cocktail for the Easter, the Holiday Mimosa is a variety cocktail. Just switch the juice and top-up fruit with a better combo and have even a better cocktail!
We’re going with the raspberry x cherry drop. Fill 2/3 of the glass with raspberry juice, for that subtle sour and sweet touch. Fill up the glass with a prosecco having both floral and fruity notes. Stir the cocktail and before serving, toss the sugared cherries, let the cherries float. Serve right away.
6. Prosecco Candy Floss Cocktail
Preparation time: 5 mins
Ingredients: Prosecco, Candy Floss, Edible Flowers, Rose Gin
We suggest breaking the ice with this beautiful-lookin’ cocktail that’s a dessert on its own.
Just pour some chilled rose gin into a cocktail glass and fill it up with some chilled Pink Prosecco. Garnish the cocktail with a beautiful, baby pink edible flower and some pinkish candy floss.
Now, serve and flaunt your bartending skills.

Ingredients: Prosecco, Fresh mint leaves, Cranberry juice, Sugar, Fresh cranberries, and Vodka
So, this one’s a bit tricky. You’ll have to introduce a minty punch in the juices as well. Toss the cranberry juice, a dash of sugar, and mint leaves into a shaker. Shake it furiously until the mint leaves are blended in.
Pour the mix into the glass, add some vodka, and top up with a sparkling prosecco. Garnish the glass with a few fresh cranberries and roughly chopped dash of mint leaves.
8. Prosecco Santa Margherita
Preparation time: 5-10 mins
Ingredients: Prosecco, Tequila, Lime Juice, Sugar, Water, Sugar, Simple Syrup, Orange Liqueur, and Kosher Salt
This one’s the exceptional one out from our list of recipes. Particularly because we wanted to include a crowd-pleasing, big-batch recipe for that easter fiesta you’re going to have.
Pour fresh lime juice in a large container. Get yourself a plate/bowl of kosher salt. Keep the chilled bottles of Tequila, Prosecco, and Simple Syrup prepared. Get the glasses ready, dip the rim of each glass in the container, fill half of it with the lime juice, add tequila, add the simple syrup, and orange liqueur, stir it well and top it all up with prosecco.
Sprinkle the kosher salt on top, serve, and watch your fam have a toothsome easter.
