It all started for the company in 1877, when two cousins, Ilario and Leopoldo Ruffino embraced their passion for winemaking and established a winery near Florence, in the town of Pontassieve. Since then, it has been over 140 years that Ruffino has been bagging awards home and to this date the brand continues to thrive and represent the culture of Italy.
