Easy Prosecco Cocktails To Make At Home

Prosecco is a beaut, not just as a wine but also as a key ingredient that can add extra punch of glory to any cocktail! There is also no reason as to why you can’t prefer Prosecco over Champagne. It’s a little sweeter than Champagne, costs less, and packs a better sparkle and larger bubbles. 

And honestly, it is such a treat to have your hands on a variety of flavors; pear, apple, floral, and more. You can woo your in-laws. You may impress your girlfriends. Heck, you may even flaunt your fancy bartender skills with your luscious and tantalizing cocktail recipes. And of course, we’re here to help you with it. For the moment, here are a few easy Prosecco Cocktails to make at home:

1. Very Cherry Prosecco Cocktail

  • Preparation Time: 3-5 mins
  • Ingredients: Chilled Prosecco, Chilled Amaretto, Cherry Kirsch, and a Cherry soaked in Kirsch

Quick and easy to make, this cocktail is metaphorical to a Bakewell tart. Just pop the cherry in a martini glass or a champagne flute, add the amaretto and top it up with rose prosecco. Use 3 parts Prosecco and one part Amaretto per serving. Adjust the number of popped cherries and the Amaretto/Prosecco amount according to the number of servings. 

2. Aperol Spritz

  • Preparation Time: 3-5 mins
  • Ingredients: Chilled Prosecco, Aperol, Ice-cubes, and an Orange Slice

This vibrant drink has been a part of Italy’s culture since the 1950s. You can enjoy this the Italian way. Now go get yourself a tumbler or a large wine glass. Pop out a few ice cubes into the glass and add Aperol on top of the cubes. Top it up with Prosecco and serve this refreshing aperitif with a slice of orange on the side.

3. Clementine Fizz

  • Preparation Time: 3-5 mins
  • Ingredients: Chilled Prosecco, Campari, Crushed Ice-cubes, and Clementines

You can either choose to stress out your juicer or go for a ready-made botte of Clementine juice. Either way and at the end of this recipe, you’ll be left with a sparkling, refreshing, and a tasty fizz! 

Add a tbsp of Campari, 2 Clementines, and crushed ice-cubes into the cocktail shaker. Shake it well and top it up with a fruity and fizzy Prosecco. It’s that simple. 

It’ll be fun. And refreshing. Have it in the evening and devour it with a fried snack combo. 

4. Pear-drop Bellini

  • Preparation Time: 3-5 mins
  • Ingredients: Chilled Brut Prosecco, 1 Pear drop, and Ice-cubes

Everybody loves candy floss but have you heard of this sweet, flavory, sugary piece of paradise called pear drop? The pear drops are particularly famous in Britain. 

We’re giving you the secret for an unrivaled pear drop Bellini. Get yourself a tall flute glass and do the pear drop-drop. Fill it up to the top with the Brut prosecco and leave it as it is for a minute so your drink can absorb the flavoring of the pear drop. 

Stir and serve. 

5. Prosecco Margarita

  • Preparation Time: 3-5 mins
  • Ingredients: Prosecco, Simple Syrup, Lime Juice, Orange Liqueur, Kosher Salt and Ice-cubes

This one goes out to the newly married ones. 

At your in-laws? Want to become everybody’s best friend? Then get yourself ready to make a huge batch of these Prosecco Margaritas. A supreme combination of sweet and sour. 

Pour the simple syrup, lime juice, and orange liqueur into a large bowl. Throw in a few ice cubes. Stir well until it’s chilled. Grab a plate for Kosher salt and open up your Prosecco bottle. Dip the rim of the glass in the bowl and do a 75% fill per serving. Top it up with Prosecco, sprinkle the Kosher Salt, and throw in a mint leave at the end. 

6. Raspberry Limoncello Prosecco

  • Preparation Time: 3-5 mins
  • Ingredients: Chilled Prosecco, Limoncello, and Raspberries

Sweet, bubbly, and easy peazy. You can make this amazingly refreshing cocktail within 5 minutes and that too with a jaw-dropping and mouth-watering garnish.

Shoot a chilled serving of Limoncello and Prosecco in a goblet. We like to keep the Prosecco/Limoncello ratio 3:1 – you can do as desired. Stir them. Serve the Limoncello Prosecco over raspberries and garnish it with mint. 

7. Sloe Gin and Prosecco Cocktail

  • Preparation Time: 3-5 mins
  • Ingredients: Chilled Prosecco, Sloe Gin, and Raspberry Puree, Simple Syrup, and Edible Glitter

Whisk every ingredient except the Prosecco and Glitter into a cocktail shaker. Shake it furiously for 10 – 15 seconds. When done, pour it in a tall flute and top it up with Prosecco. Give it a glittery finish and serve. The sparkle of Prosecco and glitter will add up for an enticing look. The taste would be, wait-for-it, Legendary!

8. Rhubarb Prosecco Cocktail

  • Preparation Time: 2 mins
  • Ingredients: Chilled Prosecco, Rhubarb gin

This is one of the easiest cocktails to make and also a highly refreshing one if you’re a rhubarb guy. As refreshing as a cold shower, you make this drink with a part rhubarb gin and mainly prosecco. 

Add some pellet ice into a tumbler and pour the gin steadily over the ice. Top up with Prosecco. Make sure you’re doing portions of 25ml rhubarb gin and 150ml of Prosecco for a single serving. We leave the variations and customization to your taste.  

9. Pineapple Prosecco Punch

  • Preparation Time: 3-5 mins
  • Ingredients: Chilled Prosecco, Pineapple Juice, Orange Juice, Pineapple cut into wedges

4 ingredients, 5 minutes, and a desire for enticing cocktails, that is all what is needed for the Pineapple Prosecco Punch. It’s sweet. It’s sour. And it is refreshing. You could call it summer in a glass. 

Just whisk all the ingredients except the sparkling prosecco in a tall glass. Make sure the glass is pre-chilled with some ice-cubes at hand. Stir the juices well and top up with Prosecco. That’s it. You’re all set.

Also, if you are looking for a non-alcoholic substitute for kids, go for sparkling water or lemon lime sodas instead of Prosecco.
