Christmas Mimosa with Prosecco

Mimosa, a cocktail that’s mainly made up of a percentage of prosecco and fresh juice, was first invented by a bartender in Paris back in 1925.

The Christmas Mimosa, adds to the beauty of it by turning the original Mimosa cocktail into another chilled goodness that’s even fruitier, yummier, and prettier and has that whole Christmas vibe to it.

It’s the Christmas morning, preparations were hectic but everything came out smooth.

Santa Claus sneaked in, the kids are playing with their presents, and mommy and daddy are enjoying their Christmas Mimosas on the couch.

They’re happy and they’ve earned it.

Simply because the Christmas Mimosa is in fact one of the most tasteful breakfast and brunch cocktails you can have for Christmas. The grapey, appley, and pomegranate comfort with angelic combination of cranberry juice and sparkling prosecco is heavenly.

And it’s not just for Christmas, just switch from cranberry juice to orange juice and you’ll have yourself an ideal, year-round festive cocktail!

Craving the sugars, are we? Let’s help you become the bartender your family deserves.

Ingredients Required To Make The Best Christmas Mimosa with Prosecco

We like our Christmas Mimosas with a soft mouthfeel and fruity aromas of pear, apple, and honeysuckle. That’s exactly why we always prefer Bisol Prosecco for this recipe. You are free to experiment with another type of prosecco if you don’t have this one.

  • 60ml Cranberry juice
  • 120ml Bisol Prosecco
  • A couple of sugared cranberries
  • A couple of half-cut green grapes
  • A few crushed ice cubes
  • A chunk of crushed green apple slices
  • A dash of pomegranate seeds
  • A dash of sugar

The Equipment You’re Going To Need

  • 1 x Glass
  • 1 x Shaker
  • 1 x Teaspoon

How Do You Make A Christmas Mimosa with Prosecco

  1. Fill the cocktail glass with crushed ice and let it sit aside and chill your glass for a while.
  2. Pour the cranberry juice, pomegranate seeds, chopped apples and sugar into the shaker and shake it furiously for 10-20 seconds.
  3. Once you’ve got this fruity mixture, add some of the crushed ice into shaker and continue the shaking for another 10-15 seconds. No pun intended.
  4. Pour the chilled fruity goodness into your glass and turn it into the cocktail it deserves to be by adding the sparking Bisol Prosecco on top.
  5. Garnish your glass with sugared cranberries and half-cut green grapes – it’ll make the drink prettier and Christmas-y.
  6. Serve it with a pretty teaspoon and let your guest guzzle the Christmas Mimosa in peace and praise the mighty bartender that you are.

Christmas Mimosa – Just A Cocktail For Christmas Morning?

Not at all!

The best part about our recipe of Christmas Mimosa is that it’s got this whole sugary, sweetening, Christmas-y vibe to it because of the cranberry juice and sugared cranberries. If your heart wants it on any other day, treat your heart well and let your brain have the nutrient high it deserves.

You can also cut out the cranberries and the cranberry juice – just use fresh orange juice and a sparkling dose of Bisol Prosecco and it’ll still taste just as good!
